Kid Entrepreneur

| November 18, 2014

My son made me proud last week as I saw innate qualities that let me know there is an entrepreneur coming after me.  Friday was a middle school dance and he is at the age still where he would rather play basketball with his friends.  But it was his idea to go to Sam’s Club to buy a large bag of assorted candy bars (bag of 120 for $10). With tax each bar cost about 10 cents but my son sold most for 25 cents and Reeses Peanut Butter Cups, an exclusive item for 50 cents. I quizzed him prior to the dance on his marketing strategy and net profit all questions he fielded with ease.
